Vide President
Lee Nichols is the Vice President of Content for Gulf Energy Information, and Editor-in-Chief of Hydrocarbon Processing, Gas Processing & LNG and H2Tech. In this role, he oversees all brands under Gulf Energy Information: World Oil, Pipeline & Gas Journal, Hydrocarbon Processing, Gas Processing & LNG, Petroleum Economist, H2Tech and Underground Infrastructure. He specializes in midstream and downstream technologies, as well as capital investments and major trends/initiatives affecting the refining, petrochemicals, gas processing, LNG and hydrogen industries globally. This includes in-depth analysis, research and project reporting for Gulf Energy Information’s Market Intelligence team, advancing sector knowledge for the organization’s Global Energy Infrastructure and Construction Boxscore databases. He has been honored with numerous editorial awards, including being named the 2025 recipient of the prestigious G. D. Crain Jr award.
Senior Director – Data and Technology
Peregrine Bush serves as the Senior Director of Data and Technology at Gulf Energy Information, where he leads the global research team in delivering critical midstream and downstream energy intelligence.
With a career spanning over 28 years, Peregrine has successfully bridged the gap between traditional cartography and digital data solutions. He has a BSc in Cartography and Geography from Oxford Brookes University. Joining the Petroleum Economist in 1997, he spent two decades as Senior Cartographic Editor, overseeing the production and distribution of over one million energy maps globally.
In November 2022, Peregrine transitioned to his current leadership role, where he drives the technological evolution of the company's data offerings, ensuring customers worldwide have access to comprehensive energy infrastructure analysis.
Senior Data and Research Analyst
Thad researches and verifies all data on upcoming refineries, petrochemical projects, major gas processing facilities and biofuel projects for the Construction Boxscore database and for Global Energy Infrastructure.
Thad has worked in downstream and upstream energy research for over 20 years and is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University.
Data and Research Analyst
Amulya joined the Global Energy Infrastructure team in July 2025 as a data and research analyst specialising on the liquefied natural gas and carbon capture storage datasets. Amulya brings a fresh approach to our research methodology and offers insights into the economics of global energy projects.
Amulya has a First Class Degree in Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi, India and a MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick in the UK.
